Behind the Scenes

Many first-time event planners have a lot of questions regarding what is required to set-up and produce entertainment for a large event.  Here is a behind the scenes look at a DanceBands production and a little of what goes into a typical set up:

The time-lapse portion of the video takes place in 3-4 hours.  That's usually how long it takes to set up for a 7-10 piece party band like the Groove Merchants, Party Crashers, Dance Doctors, Salamanders, etc.  Occasionally, Dance Bands produces large-scale, Vegas-style shows with 14-16 performers on stage.  Set-up on these typically take a little longer, but not much.  Extra sound techs and roadies help to eliminate extra time.
