Planning a World Cup Party

It doesn’t really matter which team you support as long as you celebrate in style and with some fellow comrades.  Just because you won’t be in the stadium does not mean you can’t embrace the moment in all its magnitude.  No one knows which team will claim the final win so the best thing to do is… throw a party!  Throwing a party will not only improve the win, it will also soften a loss (if that’s possible).  The World Cup is so important to so many people so it can mean a variety of things.  One thing is certain though, it means a good time, good food, and good company.  To help you throw an amazing World Cup Party, here are a few tips:

Prep early: Make sure that you have everything in order well before the party/game begins.  You will want to spend most of the time watching amazing displays of athleticism rather than making nachos in the back or running out for ice.  Make sure that you have the appropriate amount of food for all of our guests, overestimation is encouraged.  See that you have enough drinks, mixes, platters, ice, and space.  You need to make sure that you have a cushion for every rump to cheer from.

Food: food should be simple and easy to eat.  It is likely that you and your guests will not want to take your eyes off your screen so whatever you serve needs to be easy enough to grab and consume, as you could probably guess, fondue is probably a mistake. For information on drinks, CLICK HERE.

Decorations: before you rush out and buy decorations see what you already have.  Maybe you, your spouse or kids have some soccer gear that can be made useful.  With some cleats and a little ingenuity you may be surprised at the decorations you can create, just clean the gear before you make it into anything.

Games: Nope.  The only game you should be worried about involves merely cheering on your part.
